Alternative Voices
Provisions Library (1611 Connecticut Ave. NW)
is holding its First Annual Alternative Media Forum, which opens with an all-day fair of alternative media resources and concludes with a forum made up of representatives from print media, radio, public access TV, independent bookstores, media studies organizations, and Internet/new media outlets. The fair is free to the public on Wednesday, April 21, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; the forum will follow from 6 to 9 p.m., with a $5 admission. For more information, call 202/299-0460
