Vigil for Peace
On the first anniversary of the war on Iraq, DC-area Quakers will renew their silent vigil, which stood weekly for more than a year during the buildup to war and the fighting before being suspended in January. Everyone is welcome to attend on Saturday, March 20, from noon to 2 p.m. on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol. Look for a blue banner that says "Seek Peace and Pursue It."
