Talk About Clean Energy
The Chesapeake Climate Action Network, the DC Sierra Club, and Friends of the Earth are sponsoring a forum on the environmental and health problems associated with air pollution – and clean energy alternatives, like wind and solar power. Speakers will represent the health, environmental, wind energy, faith and environmental justice communities. Information from DC-based groups will also be available at the forum on Thursday, Jan. 22, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Sumner School (1201 17th St. NW; Farragut North Metro).
