The Real Face of War
The Student Peace Action Network (SPAN) Speaking Tour, "The Real Face of War," is coming to Washington, DC. SPAN is bringing its message of peace to thousands of high school and college students in the Mid-Atlantic region, including Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey and New York.
The SPAN tour will feature Nagasaki survivor Kazuko Yamashina, Veterans for Peace, and 9/11 Families for Peaceful Tomorrows. All students, parents, teachers, veterans and community members are invited to attend this special event on Tuesday, Nov. 18, from 4 to 6 p.m., at Georgetown University (37th and O Streets NW) in the ICC Auditorium.
