End The Korean War! Peace Treaty Now!
July 27, 2003, marks the 50th anniversary of the Korean War Armistice, which ended open fighting without a permanent peace treaty between the United States and North Korea. For 50 years, Koreans have lived in fear of renewed aggression. More than ever, as tensions between these two nations continue to grow, it is time to finally end the Korean War. On this important anniversary, Koreans and peace activists from around the world will come together in Washington, DC, to demand an end to current hostilities and the beginning of just negotiations toward a true reconciliation.
