A State of Peace
Come witness for peace at an African-American-led, faith-based, multi-racial event. Meet outside the State Department, 2271 C St. NW, at noon on Saturday, March 1. Black Voices for Peace, part of a developing coalition of black faith leaders, is helping to organize this event. The Rev. Walter Fauntroy of New Bethel Church, the Progressive National Baptist Convention and others, including members of the Muslim community, are also part of this effort.
