Community Greening mini-grants of up to $1,000 are available from Garden Resources of Washington for community and youth gardening projects located in the District of Columbia. These grants are available for learning gardens, healing gardens, neighborhood beautification, community gardens, tree box beautification, butterfly gardens, food gardens, habitat gardens, rain gardens, etc. The funds can be used for plants, seeds, tools, soil amendments, mulch and other gardening supplies, educational materials and community outreach.
