Busboys and Poets is Washington's newest gathering place. The restaurant and coffee house has a full service bar, free WiFi, a fully equipped performance stage and a bookstore operated in association with Teaching for Change, an activist organization committed to building social justice. The bookstore stocks progressive poetry, political books, media and independent retail items. Busboys and Poets is a community resource space committed to becoming a welcome addition to the neighborhood. It's located at 14th and V Streets NW.
