DC Del.
Eleanor Holmes Norton has been working hard to beat back congressional attempts to weaken the District's gun control laws. She needs our help, and is inviting everyone to a town hall meeting to let Congress know, loud and clear, that the residents of Washington are perfectly happy with our gun control laws.
The town hall is on Tuesday, July 26, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at Shaw Junior High School (Rhode Island Avenue and Ninth Street NW). Norton will be joined by Mayor Anthony Williams, Metropolitan Police Chief Charles Ramsey and survivors of children killed by gun violence. Lend your support with your presence.
