The
Gay and Lesbian Activists Alliance of Washington, DC (GLAA), is a local, all-volunteer, non-partisan, non-profit political organization, founded in 1971 to advance the equal rights of gay men and lesbians in DC. It is the nation's oldest continuously active gay and lesbian civil rights organization.
GLAA meetings are held at 7 p.m., on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month, at the Charles Sumner School (17th and M Streets NW; Farragut North Metro). The next meeting is Tuesday, April 26. For more information, send an e-mail.
